Services

Moving-Moving Services is available for moving of furniture, boxes and other miscellaneous items as needed on both campuses.  The current rate for service is $22.00 per hour/per man.  There is a one hour minimum charge.  Moving Services will provide an estimate of cost when requested.  When requesting a move, please send an on campus requisition via campus mail, fax or email.  Please contact Bob Gier at 402-310-8549 or

Moving Boxes-Moving Services provides boxes with the dimensions of 16" x 12" x 12" for moving.  The current rate for each box is .95 each plus a delivery charge at an hourly rate of $22.50 per hour.  Departments can arrange to pickup the boxes at no charge.

Rental Tables-Moving Services provides rental tables and rental chairs for any University function as available.  The current sizes and rental rates are listed below.  There is also a delivery fee at a rate of $22.00 per hour.  Please send an on campus requisition for delivery of rental tables and chairs via campus mail, email or fax

6' x 30" (seats 6-8)    $2.00 per day
8' x 30" (seats 8-10)  $2.00 per day

Chairs
Stacking            .50 each/per day

 

Surplus Pickup-Moving Services provides the service of picking up excess surplus property for the Inventory Department.  An excess property form needs to be completed and sent via email, fax or campus mail.  All of this information is on the form.  There is no charge for this service.
